Removing Scratches:
The mirror can become scratched over time and exposure to weather; however, most scratches can be removed quickly and easily with very little effort.
It is possible to remove minor scratches and haziness with a mild abrasive polish such as Meguiar's PlastX clear plastic cleaner and polish or Novus No. 2. To remove heavier scratches and abrasions, try Novus No. 3.
Another fine product for cleaning and removing scratches is Brillianize.
Another way to remove minor scratches and abrasions by applying a thin, even coat of automobile polish (not cleaning polish). Once applied remove the polish by buffing lightly with a clean, damp non-abrasive cloth.
